Part of the promise we made when we started writing these pages was that we would be as honest and transparent as we could be. So, let’s acknowledge this. We sure do spend a lot of time trying to get our shipping as efficient as we possibly can! Maybe, in the near future, someone will invent a matter transporter (an environmentally friendly version of that one they use in Star Trek) and we’ll be able to zap your order to you in a couple of minutes. But we’re not there yet. Instead, we’re left with the bumps and bruises that come with time and distance, the vagaries of the post, and easily forgotten impediments like weekends. Even so, we’ve done all we can to source the very best shipping and postal services available and we make it a priority to get your order out the door the moment we receive it.

Here’s what you need to know about shipping and how long your order will take to reach you:

USA:

  • Free shipping for all orders over $50 (US).
  • For orders under $50, a standard shipping fee of $4.95 (US) applies.
  • All orders are provided with a tracking number.
  • Deliveries to metropolitan areas should arrive within 10 -12 business days.
  • Deliveries to rural areas should arrive within 12 -15 business days.

 

Rest of the World:

  • Free shipping for all orders over $50 (US).
  • For orders under $50, a standard shipping fee of $6.99(US) applies.
  • All orders are provided with a tracking number.
  • Deliveries to metropolitan areas should arrive within 12 - 15 business days.
  • Deliveries to rural areas should arrive within 15 - 17 business days.

WHAT ABUT CUSTOMS CLEARANCE?

CUSTOMS TARIFFS:

You should know that the delivery cost does not include any applicable duty or customs tariffs that may be levied upon importation. These charges must be paid by the consignee.

A customs declaration will also accompany all international shipments. We are required to state the value of the goods to customs.
Note: Due to customs regulations and circumstances beyond our control, in some countries products may be undeliverable.

How Do I get a Refund, Exchange or Replacement?

We hope that you will be happy with your order that you decide to stay with us for ever and ever! But we also know that the world is rarely perfect. Even though our products generally work well, there will be some unexpected factors that affect the quality, especially your products have been damaged in transit or it simply doesn’t work for you

Whatever the case, if for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, we’re happy to offer a refund, exchange or replacement on all goods. All you need to do is contact us within 30 business days of your receipt of goods.

Generally, we won’t expect you to return your order, but there may be cases, when we want to check out what’s gone wrong, where we’ll arrange for the products to be returned to us.

To receive your refund, exchange or replacement, please do get in touch with us at support@makegoodgear.com, citing your order number where possible.

Order cancellation

All orders can be cancelled within 12 hours. If your order has been paid and you need to make a change or cancel an order, you must contact us within 12 hours. Once the packaging and shipping process has started, the orders can no longer be cancelled or changed.

Refunds

Your satisfaction is our #1 priority. Therefore, if you’d like a refund you can request one but the request can be fulfilled if the reasons are as listed:

If you do not receive the product within the guaranteed time(45 days not including 5-7 day processing) you can request a refund or a reshipment. If you receive the wrong item, you can request a refund or a reshipment.

You cannot ask for a refund if:

  • Your order did not arrive due to factors within your control (i.e. providing the wrong shipping address, not being at home for delivery, not picking up the packages as requested)
  • Your order did not arrive due to exceptional circumstances outside the control of Our Store (i.e. not cleared by your country customs, delayed by a natural disaster, showed "delivered" in the tracking system, shipped in your mailbox but was lost)

*You can submit refund requests within 15 days after the guaranteed period for delivery (45 days) has expired. You can do it by sending a message on Contact Us page.

If you are approved for a refund, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.
